Weighed in this morning at 155 pounds, no change from yesterday.
Well, I succeeded in weighing in this morning at the same weight as yesterday. That means, I was able to match my calorie intake with calorie burn. So, I'll be able to spend today and the next couple days trimming down to 150 pounds, my target weight.
I actually consumed very little during the first half of the day. I woke up, and ate a half-pound of strawberries. Then my wife and I went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park, and spend about 2 1/2 hours walking around. There are a lot of hills and canyons there, and you get some good exercise.
We came home, and I had another half-pound of stawberries, and some leftover smoked turkey from Christmas.
Then I hooked up with some friends over beer at our favorite tavern. I had three beers. Those guys had pizza, but I managed to keep off and not eat anything. But they left early in the evening, and I found myself wanting to stay out a little longer.
So, I stopped at a Taco Bell, and tried a few items from their new low-fat menu. Not bad, they taste just like the regular Taco Bell food. Then I stopped at another friend's house, and gobbled down a few chocolate-chip cookies and a bottle of beer.
I really thought the chocolate cookies was going to do me in. But it seems as if they did not.
