Maintaining My Base Weight For Now

Weighed in this morning at 150 pounds, no change from yesterday.

I made yesterday a non-diet day. My wife and I went to Sizzler for lunch. I had the usual, which is the salad bar. I started with a salad consisting of spinach, tomatoes, cumcumbers, with salsa for topping.

Then I had a bunch of chicken soft tacos. Sizzler has shredded chicken, corn tortillas, and pickled jalapenos at their salad bar. And the location we go to in Lake Elsinore has Pico Pica sauce, which is more hot than other national branded hot sauces. So, I filled up on this.

Afterwards, we hit up a Henry's Market and I bought some more diet food. Among them was more kefir. I had stopped drinking kefir for breakfast because the kefir I found at other grocery stores in my neighborhood was all flavored, and contained sugar. So I found this unsweetened plain variety at Henry's. I tried it this morning, and the flavor was "ok". I like the probiotics in the kefir enough that I'll continue drinking this, and this unsweetened plain variety is lower in calories.

Well, I'm pleased I didn't gain any weight at least, despite eating a lot at Sizzler. But then, I didn't really eat anymore after that. I only had one beer, and a grapefruit the rest of the day. And no exercise, other than grocery shopping.

Today is effectively another non-diet day. I've planned to hit up the local tavern this evening. But that doesn't mean I'll be gorging during the day, I'm planning to stick to a low calorie day, but have a regular meal with beer in the evening.
