Weighed in this morning at 150 pounds, no change from yesterday.
Here's what I did yesterday...
Morning: 1 can of low sodium V8 Juice (70 calories)
Morning: 1 small multi-grain tortilla (100 calories)
Afternoon: 5oz of beef jerky (400 calories)
Afternoon: 1 bottle of water (0 calories)
Afternoon: 1 can of low sodium V8 Juice (70 calories)
Evening: 1 package, 170g, of blackberries (83 calories)
Evening: 1 dry pint of grape tomatoes (70 calories)
Evening: 1 medium sized grapefruit (70 calories)
Total: 863 calories
Exercise: none
The past couple of months my wife and I have been having a little weight loss competition. She's been shedding some pounds too. But not on a "beef jerky diet". She's not really on any specific weight loss plan, other than not stuffing herself. She just eats enough to satisfy her hunger, and then stops.
Otherwise, she still gets the burger, but usually only eats half. She'll make corn bread muffins, but only eats one. She'll get a 6 inch sub sandwich, and still only eat half. And to drink, all she ever drinks is iced tea, no sugar.
She seems to be dropping about 1-2 pounds per week, which is perfect.
In the past, she would eat a lot more. But she says doesn't really feel that hungry. But I noticed she also keeps her mind occupied on other things, so she's never really that bored.
