Weighed in this morning at 153 pounds, down two pounds from yesterday.
Here's what I did yesterday to lose those two pounds...
Morning: Two small whole wheat tortillas (160 calories)
Afternoon: Three ounces of beef jerky (240 calories)
Afternoon: Two bottles of water (0 calories)
Late Afternoon: 24 almonds, 1oz (160 calories)
Evening: Five small celery sticks with hot sauce (10 calories)
Evening: Two cans of V8 Juice (140 calories)
Total: 710 calories
Exercise: I mowed the front yard lawn, then did some light weight lifting for the arms, shoulders, and chest.
Today, I'm heading out on a motorcycle ride to San Diego with some friends, for lunch at Old Town Mexican Cafe. I'm committing myself to eating a salad, with little to no fat, and nothing sugary. But I do plan to have a few beers later on in the evening. I fully to expect to weigh three to four pounds heavier tomorrow morning just from all those beers.
If you've followed this blog the past week, you'll know I started out last Monday morning weighing at 160 pounds. So that means I lost 7 pounds in three days, basically eating a smiliar diet all three days, and doing little to moderate exercise.
But while I made it sound easy, it's not. It takes a lot of discipline to control the urge to eat. Over those three days, I really really wanted to eat lots more than I did. But I kept true to my committment to stick to the diet, and bring my weight closer to 150 pounds.
