Lost Six Pounds in One Week

Weighed in this morning at 168 pounds, down another pound from yesterday.

And with that pound, I reached my goal of 168 for this week!

Yesterday I was actually off the beef jerky diet, but spent it eating a salad at Sizzler's. I had spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, and topped it with salsa instead of dressing. Then I had several strawberries and a couple slices of pineapple, with an iced tea to drink.

Later in the evening I had 2oz of beef jerky.

To drink, just bottled water.

I also did my 2 mile walk-n-jog in the morning, and then another 1 mile walk with my dogs in the evening. I also did 30 crunches, and 30 sit-ups. And I even did 9 push-ups. Yes, 9. That was all my arms could muster.

That afternoon I also spent a couple of hours trimming more pygmy date palms, trimming some bushes, and pulling weeds.

Today is my non-diet day. I'm heading out on my motorcycle and going riding with some friends. I'm looking to getting another salad, but I'm sure there's a few beers headed my way, and who knows what else.

By the way, I'm still drinking kefir in the morning, about 2 measuring cups worth. I just kept forgetting to mention it in my diet logs.

So, my goal for next week is to reach 166 pounds. I'm hoping by the end of this month I can be 165 pounds. I would actually like to reach 162 pounds, but the end of this month I plan to ride up to Kernville with some friends, and I can totally see myself gorging on beer and BBQ. So, 165 it is.
