Lost One Pound in One Week

Weighed in this morning at 167 pounds. Down one from yesterday, and down one for this past week.

I stuck to the beef jerky diet yesterday, eating 8oz of jerky, 3 bottles of water, and two bottles of Fruit 2O, and a serving of kefir.

I did all the usual exercises, 2 miles of jogging, 4 reps of chin-ups, and then two sets of 30 sit-ups, 30 crunches, and 10 push-ups. I also did some more yard work in the back, but didn't get a whole lot done.

My goal for the past week was to weigh in this morning at 166 pounds. I started that week at 168 pounds, so it goes to show that losing two pounds in a week is not necessarily easy. I'm blaming it on the BBQ chicken pizza I had Wednesday evening. I should've stuck with the salad.

So, I think I'll make 165 pounds my weigh-in goal for next Saturday morning.

Today's a non-diet day for me, as is tomorrow. My plan was to jump on the motorcycle and ride somewhere. I'm having trouble finding someone to ride with today, so I'm not sure how things are going to go. It also started raining a little bit here in Menifee, CA this morning, but I think it's already blown out and moved north.

I went jogging this morning as usual. Running through the park, I noticed a group of folks doing push-ups and sit-ups and jogging. It looked they were part of an organized group. I was curious, because I might benefit from a little peer pressure to keep myself going. But I didn't stop. If I see them again next weekend, maybe I'll ask.
