Bar-Hopping and Dieting

Yesterday was a scheduled non-diet day. I managed to hook up with a friend and we did some bar-hopping on motorcycles. Started out riding to The Waterfront Tavern in San Diego, supposedly the oldest bar in San Diego. I had two beers and a plate of carnitas.

Then rode up to Stone Brewery in San Marcos, and I had two more beers. Then we rode to Breakwater Brewing in Oceanside, and I drank one more beer. Then up the coast, turned inland and stopped at Hells Kitchen in El Cariso, and had a Sprite.

Later that evening, I took the wife out to dinner to Mimi's Cafe in Temecula, and I had a salmon salad with a muffin.

I still did some exercises yesterday, however. I started the morning with my usual 2-mile jog, along with a few chin-ups. And then two sets of push-ups, sit-ups, and crunches. I did not do the evening walk however.

I'm going to stop doing to the chin-ups. Yesterday morning I felt my wrist aching, the one I broke a few years ago. I don't want to reinjure it. I'll have to find some other way to exercise.

Today's another scheduled non-diet day, and usually the day my wife and I spend together. I gotta stay focused on eating vegetables, or salads, and see if I can get some more yard work done later on.
