Wine & Dine Dieting

This morning I weighed in at 176 pounds.

Yesterday, I weighed in at 174.

So after my last post on Friday, I made a roast beef sandwich with cheese and green chiles, and that was all I ate that day. I didn't exercise, and all I drank was water and some diet sodas. That took me down the 174 pounds for my weigh-in Saturday morning.

Then Saturday, my buddy and I rode our motorcycles to Coronado through some back roads in San Diego County. We stopped at a store in Lyons Valley for some drinks, and then had lunch at the Ferry Landing on the island. I had pork tacos, and two bloody marys.

That evening the two of us ended up at Longshadow Ranch Winery in Temecula for their bonfire. I had about 4 glasses of wine, some cheese, some grapes, a half sandwich, some apple slices, and a couple of rice-krispie treats.

That took me to my 176 pound weigh in this morning.

So this morning, I did a 3/4 mile jog and a 1 1/4 mile walk. I threw some strips of beef that had been marinating for two days on the BBQ grill, hoping it will turn into some killer beef jerky later in the evening.

And now the wife and I are ready to head out and grab some Sunday brunch.
