Weighed in this morning at 192 pounds. Up two pounds from last Saturday.
That Saturday and Sunday I ended up pigging out. Saturday my wife and I had some breakfast at Yellow Basket, and I ate a ground beef burrito, very yummy. That night we attended a 40th birthday party for a friend of mine. They had catered in all kinds of food, chicken cordon bleu, lasagna, stuffed potatoes, to name a few.
Then Sunday I went motorcycling with some friends, and we had lunch at B's Backyard BBQ in Big Bear Lake. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which is among the best I've ever had. It came with mac & cheese and beans. I had just water to drink. However that evening I hung out with a friend of mine and I had several bottles of his homemade beer.
So by Monday's weigh in, I came to 195 pounds. Yikes!
To say the least, Monday was a beef jerky diet day.
That "grogginess" that I had been talking about? It's been going away. I wonder if it was due to drinking so much diet sodas. I haven't had one for a week now. I still have a few cases left of that stuff.
