Diet Log - July 14, 2008

Weighed in this morning at 197 pounds, up a few pounds from the last weigh in.

I pigged out this weekend.

Weekends are my non-diet days, but I went overboard and stuffed myself.

If you recall from the last post, I was heading out on a ride to Pala Casino for lunch buffet. I did ok there, only had two plates, or actually 1 1/2 plates, since the second one was only half-full. But that evening, the wife and I went to Arby's, and I had three of those Beef & Cheddars.

Sunday, I had a bag of beef jerky in the morning, to kick start the metabolism. In the afternoon, a bunch of us rode to Tom's Farms to hang out, and I had just Diet Cokes. But that night I got really hungry, and wanted to take the wife out for dinner. But we stayed home!

Except, I got a call from a friend of mine who had just got back from a month-long vacation. So I headed out to meet him at this bar & grill, just to chat over a beer, and as soon as I started smelling the food there, the hunger pains started killing me. I ended up with a chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes, and a 23oz beer.

And to top it off, I haven't been exercising.

So I gotta kick myself in the butt and get me back on track.

It's funny, I gain a few pounds, and I feel fat.
