Diet Log - May 15, 2008

Weighed in this morning at 207 lbs, down another pound.

I managed to stay on the beef jerky diet Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Yesterday I had a bag of "Wal-Mart Peppered Jerky". I didn't exercise yesterday, but I did mow the lawn.

I'm still having a couple pieces of ham each morning, probably about 6 ounces, trying to eat it up before it spoils. I pull off as much fat as I can and toss that to the dogs.

Today is also Thursday, my usual day to hook up with some friends and ride motorcycles. As such, today is a "normal food" day. It's looking like that's going to be the pattern for me. Beef jerky diet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and a normal meal, Thusday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Saturday is going to be a killer. I'm planning get together with some friends and visit a chili cook off. I'll be sampling lots of chili. Later on that same day, I'm attending a house-warming party. I'm sure I'll be tapping into the beer and whatever munchies people bring over.

Glad to see that you are still losing. I am now down 25 pounds. Moving down a suit size. Lost 20 in 4 weeks and now 5 in the last 2 weeks. Even eating jerky 3 times a day is not going to melt the net 25 off. I need to start exercising. It is hard to believe eating less than 1000 calories a day does not equal to more weight loss in the last two weeks.

Still need to get away from those nitrites; I have not found a bag of jerky that did not iclude it.
